The river that runs all the way from Giiva gets very calm through Mayna. No rapids on the whole land, it is a safe river to fish from and swim in. It is a more peaceful place, most come to think here.

To the far north of Mayna there is a plain that is covered in snow nearly all year round. It isn't really a tundra, but it isn't really part of the arctic. In summer the snow melts away and the grass grows green. Most of the hunting occurs here, for it is plentiful in caribou.
